Arianna Korangy Daniels,

LICSW, RYT

Pronouns: she/her

My hope is to provide a safe space for you to land; one that helps you cultivate hope, receive support, ask hard questions, and deepen understanding and appreciation of yourself.

For me, it is an honor to hold space for you in your therapeutic journey – to honor your courage in showing up for yourself, and to affirm your inherent potential as a human being. I truly believe that healing, growth, and change do not occur in a vacuum; I recognize the importance of meeting you where you are to understand the systemic and cultural influences in your life.

As an Iranian American, and daughter of an immigrant, I value the nuanced spaces in which our identities exist. I believe that holding space for these layers is necessary for our healing individually and collectively.

My hope is to provide a space for you to explore elements of identity in your life – further encouraging your own agency and capacity to feel empowered. We are all the experts on our own lives. You know your own processes, and when you are ready to dig deeper, soften, and grow.

My approach...

My approach to therapy is one that recognizes and deeply values the potential for human relationships to help us see the best parts of ourselves,  the ways in which we want to change and evolve, and the ways in which we can choose to heal and overcome. My role is to serve as a vessel; to partner, collaborate, and encourage my clients in the seasons of experiences they are in and facing.

I work from a holistic perspective, tapping into a variety of approaches including: mindfulness, attachment theory, EMDR, internal family systems (IFS), parts work, psychodynamic principles, and emotion focused therapy. I believe in the importance of individuals feeling safe in their bodies, and incorporate the somatic based practices of breathwork, yoga, and movement for trauma processing to support this. Most importantly; I work to meet the client where they are at and focus on what would be the most supportive and helpful modality for them.

My work centers adult individuals and couples processing the range of human experiences: grief, anxiety, adjustments and transitions, family of origin dynamics, intergenerational trauma, with a focus on work with survivors of intimate partner violence, child sexual abuse, and complex trauma.

Arianna is in-network with Premera, Cigna, First Choice, LifeWise, Regence, Anthem and some other Blue Cross plans and can also bill in network with Kaiser for transgender clients. Please be aware that Protea Wellness cannot accept insurance for couple's therapy.
