LMFTA

As a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, I approach therapy through a systemic and relational lens, understanding that healing happens in the context of our relationships and communities. I look at how your relationships, lived experiences, identities, and the larger systems around you all shape your well-being. I strive to create a space where clients feel seen, heard, and affirmed in their full identities. I work with individuals, couples, and families, with a focus on supporting BIPOC clients and couples, and those navigating trauma so we can explore patterns, deepen connection, and create meaningful, sustainable change.

My approach...

My style is warm, collaborative, and grounded in curiosity. I aim to create a space where you can show up as your full self and feel genuinely seen, heard, and respected. I believe that healing happens in connection, so our work together often centers on understanding patterns, strengthening relationships, and finding new ways of relating to yourself and others. I also believe that laughter and humor can be an important part of the process—therapy doesn’t have to feel heavy all the time. When it feels right, I welcome moments of lightness as a way to build connection, ease tension, and support healing.

I draw from approaches like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment theory, and the Gottman Method, while also incorporating elements of narrative therapy. In practice, this might look like slowing things down to
understand emotional experiences, building communication skills, exploring how past relationships show up in the present, and reworking the stories we carry about ourselves.

My work is trauma-informed and rooted in anti-racist and anti-oppressive values. I recognize that mental health is deeply impacted by culture, identity, and systemic inequities, and I hold space for those realities
in therapy. You won’t have to explain or minimize those parts of your experience here—we can explore them together in a way that feels supportive and empowering.

Whether you’re coming in as an individual or with a partner, my goal is to support you in building deeper understanding, more secure connections, and a stronger sense of alignment in your life.

Professional training & memberships...

I received my Bachelor of Arts from the University of Washington in Seattle in 2018 with minors in Diversity and Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies. I obtained my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2023 from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma.

Prior to my work as a Marriage & Family Therapist, I worked as a behavior technician with children ranging in age from 3 to 17 on the Autism Spectrum for three years. I worked in clinics, client homes, and school settings.

I am a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and the Washington Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (WAMFT).
