What is Sex Therapy?

Sex therapy is a specialized form of psychotherapy that focuses on addressing sexual issues and improving sexual health and intimacy. It is designed to help individuals and people in relationships to overcome physical and emotional challenges related to sexual function, desire, performance, and relationships.

A licensed sex therapist provides a safe and non-judgmental environment to explore these issues, using a variety of therapeutic techniques to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and foster a healthy, fulfilling sex life. Whether dealing with concerns like sexual dysfunction or pain, low libido, sexual trauma, or intimacy problems, sex therapy aims to promote overall well-being and strengthen intimate connections.
