Pronouns: she/her

I believe in the human capacity for healing. I offer a space for safe healing through built trust, deep compassion, empathy, and humor. My hope is to help you become empowered through identifying and utilizing your innate strengths. I want to work with you to help you better connect with yourself and your communities.

As a white/Jewish cis-gender woman who is bisexual/queer, I am committed to continued cultural humility. In my personal and professional lives, I acknowledge the many systems of oppression and the structural inequalities that make up our world.

I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ and kinky folks. I enjoy supporting clients working through sexual shame, challenges with intimacy and connection, exploring relational dynamics, trauma processing (including recovery from gendered-based violence), grief and loss, and family of origin processing.

My approach...

My clinical work is relational, collaborative, psychoeducational, and trauma informed. I compassionately challenge clients through Narrative Therapy techniques, draw from Mindfulness, and incorporate Intersectional Feminist Theory and Anti-Oppression frameworks.

It is important that I collaborate with my clients to create a path for healing that is based on their needs which often means drawing upon numerous therapeutic modalities.

As a sex therapist, I draw from the theoretical framework of intimate justice. Intimate justice links experiences of inequity and oppression with how folks evaluate the quality of their relational and sexual experiences.

Professional training & memberships...

I hold a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Washington State, credential #LH61255188.

I completed my sex therapy training and education through the Modern Sex Therapy Institutes. I am a member of the American Association for Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist (CST)
