Life is messy, and it can be tough to see past the struggles that come up in families: from big worries, to big feelings, to life's many transitions. This is where I can help. Let’s work together to slow down and look at what's hard for your family, as well as your family's many strengths.

Let’s find ways for you and your child to step out of old patterns, and find even better ways to relate. Let’s work to let go of the “shoulds,” and instead find what will actually help you and your family. Life is messy, and we will work together to find ways to see, and live into, the joy and fun within the chaos.

My approach...

I strive to bring compassion, empathy, and a sense of humor to my sessions. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process, tailored to support you and your family’s individual needs and unique journey.

I draw on a variety of approaches and theories, including play therapy, art therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, family systems theory, and mindfulness. In working with children, I believe parent or guardian involvement is key to effecting change, so I welcome your participation in sessions.

Professional training & memberships...

I have worked with children and adults in community agencies, schools, and in homes, supporting them through challenges with depression, anxiety, autism spectrum disorder, and ADHD. I am licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist Therapist in Washington State, credential #LF61157526, and hold a MA in Counseling Psychology from Sofia University with a specialization in Creative Expression. I am a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and its Washington affiliate.
