Taking the first step toward therapy is a powerful act of courage. My work is grounded in a belief that meaningful change happens through collaboration, respect, and a strong therapeutic relationship. I provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy to individuals and families navigating life’s most challenging moments.
I have a strong background in trauma-informed care and have worked closely with diverse populations, including Native American communities, with an emphasis on cultural awareness and recognition of oppressive systems. My work with 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals is grounded in affirmation, respect for identity, and an understanding of the unique stressors and strengths within these communities.
My style is warm, direct, and collaborative, and I am dedicated to helping clients develop the tools they need to move forward with confidence.
My approach...
My approach is integrative and tailored to each client’s unique needs. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Family Systems. Art and Play therapy elements are included developmentally.
I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and families, as well as individuals in crisis, and I am committed to providing affirming, inclusive care for individuals within the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered to build on their strengths.
Professional training & memberships...
I received my Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University, and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH60039592) in the state of Washington. Through my work in community mental health and child & family programs, I completed the requirements to be recognized as a Mental Health Professional & Child Mental Health Specialist through the Washington Department of Social and Health Services.
Throughout my career, I have worked across a wide range of settings—including inpatient and outpatient care, residential treatment, and community-based programs—supporting clients with trauma, substance use, co-occurring disorders, and complex behavioral health needs. In addition to direct clinical work, I have held leadership roles including Clinical Director of a dual diagnosis treatment program, where I provided supervision to therapists and guided multidisciplinary teams. These experiences have deepened my commitment to thoughtful, client-centered care and effective, practical interventions.
