I believe that healing happens within a relationship built on trust and genuine collaboration. I approach each client through a systems and strengths-based lens, recognizing that who we are is shaped by the environments, relationships, and communities around us. Rather than focusing solely on what brings someone to therapy, I seek to understand the fuller picture of a person's life - their context, their resilience, and the unique strengths they already carry. I provide compassionate, integrative therapy to children, adolescents, and families navigating life's complex challenges, with a deep commitment to creating space where every client feels seen and accepted.

My approach...

My work is informed by several modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI),  trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) and mindfulness. My approach is relational and tailored to each individual's needs and strengths. I believe in centering joy in the healing journey because laughter, creativity, and playfulness can be powerful vehicles for growth and connection. I am committed to understanding and actively working against systemic oppression, recognizing the very real harm these systems create in our lives. Therapy can be a space to grapple with the impact of these systems, define and understand how our identities show up, and actively practice hope and care towards ourselves and others.

I am proud to offer affirming, inclusive care for individuals within the 2SLGBTQIA+ and Trans and Non-Binary communities, and I am knowledgeable in supporting neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and Autism. I also have extensive experience working with kids and adolescents ages 6-18 in the school setting, working primarily with kids with depression, anxiety, suicidality, trauma, and substance use. I also supported families in navigating the school system, recognizing how a child's educational environment can shape their wellbeing. Whether working with a young child, a teenager, or a family system, I strive to meet each client where they are - helping them build resilience, develop coping skills, and move forward with confidence.

Professional training & memberships...

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Puget Sound, and earned a Master of Social Work from the University of Washington. I’m licensed in the state of Washington as a Licensed Social Worker Associate—Independent Clinical (LSWAIC): #SC61555375. I have worked in the public school setting for the last 8 years in a variety of roles, including an Americorps member, a community partner manager, and a clinical care coordinator. I am working towards becoming an ADHD-certified clinician.  I have received additional training in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy.
