Welcome and let’s take a moment to acknowledge you taking this important step towards your/your family’s mental health and wellbeing.

I believe in healing; that individuals and families are the experts on their lived experiences, and sometimes need a brave space, in addition to support, to make desired changes and reach their goals. Therapy can help you to identify and connect to your strengths, find more effective skills/tools to work through challenges, while providing encouragement and help to move forward.

It is an honor and a privilege for me to be a part of peoples’ healing. My areas of specialty include working with teens-young adults with anxiety, trauma, self-harming behaviors, and disrupted relationships with food and/or bodies. I am a neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ affirming counselor.

My approach...

When we meet, we will examine what is bringing you (and/or your family) to therapy and come up with a plan as to how I may be of support to you through the process of reaching your goals. I have experience in providing individual, family, couples, and group therapy, as well as collaborative care - where, with permission, I may work alongside other support people in your life such as teachers, primary care doctors, nutrition counselors, and so forth. Inclusive as well as trauma informed/sensitive care models are at the heart of the way I work.

I am an eclectic and collaborative mental health provider who utilizes my education, training, and experiences along with your feedback and insights throughout therapy. The approaches I most often use are person-centered, somatic, strengths based, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT+), family systems, dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), neuroscience & mindfulness practices, and eye movement desensitization & reprocessing (EMDR), often with art and play (experiential) opportunities.

Professional training & memberships...

I received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from St. Martin’s University, and am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH60754523) in the state of Washington.

Through my work in community mental health and child & family programs, I completed the requirements to be recognized as a Mental Health Professional & Child Mental Health Specialist through the Washington Department of Social and Health Services. I am a Certified Body Trust® provider, in addition to being a member of the International Association for Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP). My work experiences include community mental health, integrative healthcare, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programming in eating disorder treatment, school outreach, and private practice settings. Through regular continuing education, I strive to further my skillset to best meet the needs of the people I work with.
