I believe you are naturally whole. My practice is to create an environment where you can explore your inner wisdom to heal and have a loving relationship with yourself. I work holistically honoring your individual needs, desires and goals including your spiritual, intellectual, psychological, interpersonal, and cultural aspects of who you are. Inner growth is an investment in you, your health, your relationships, and your life.

I believe there are many ways of healing and offer three different services to support your journey: counseling, coaching and Reiki.

My approach...

In my counseling services I believe the foundation of work is earned through nurturing the relationship between therapist and client and client with their body, mind, and spirit. Being in a loving relationship with yourself can foster the ability to see why you show up in certain ways and open the path towards self-compassion, release of symptoms & healing. I pull from a variety of approaches to meet you where you are in the therapeutic process. The main theories I incorporate are Attachment, Humanistic, Psychoanalytic, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Polyvagal. Additionally, I incorporate anti-oppression, mindfulness, somatic, trauma informed, breathwork, guided meditation, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotion Freedom Technique (EFT or tapping) interventions.

In my coaching services I focus on fostering a reconnection to your body's wisdom to reach your desired outcome. Intuition is what you KNOW. When you are in relationship with your inner wisdom, you can navigate life in the most aligned path for your highest good, even without having a clear understanding of how things will unfold. I incorporate energy healing as well as therapeutic modalities and techniques such as mindfulness, meditation, nature, movement, and breath work. Please note while we can discuss and name insights, healing, and transformations that happen within and between sessions, it is not processing work, or counseling.

In my Reiki sessions I use the Japanese Usui tradition of healing. Reiki travels through chakras, meridians, & auras. Chakras are transformers of energy that Reiki moves to rebalance the body's Ki, life force, through Rei or Universal/God(dess) consciousness. Reiki raises the vibratory level in and around the physical body supporting release and clearing blocked, stagnant energy channels. Reiki can help reduce stress, promote relaxation, and offers a gentle grounding and is often used to ease anxiety, depression, chronic pain, grief, and stuck trauma in the body.

Professional training & memberships...

I started my professional career as a manager at Nordstrom for 10 years and began volunteering at a homeless shelter and transitional housing unit for children and female oriented people. At the shelter, I ran two groups: one for children 6-8 years old who have witnessed or experienced domestic violence and the other was an art group using A Window Between Worlds programs. I worked as a clinician/case manager at Sound Community Health agency where I worked with adults who had co-occurring intellectual disabilities and mental health needs. During that time, I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at Argosy University in 2010 and Master of Arts in Counseling at Antioch University-Seattle. Since 2016 I have worked in private practice primarily working with adults who have experienced trauma and complex trauma, identify as highly sensitive, or who were experiencing major life transitions.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State, credential LH60793224. I am a Reiki Master, a Developmental Disabilities Mental Health Specialist, and an approved Clinical Supervisor in Washington State. I am a member of the American Counseling Association.
