Kelly Johnson, Clinical Intern
Pronouns: she/they
I know firsthand that many of us live in a world that wasn’t built with us in mind, and I believe deeply in the power of community to help us find belonging and healing. Some of the identities that shape who I am and how I show up in the world include being a woman, being queer, and being neurodivergent.

I bring warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for your lived experience into the therapy room. Whether you’re looking for a compassionate listener or someone to offer insight and guidance, I do my best to tailor my approach to what you need. My style is collaborative because I believe that you are the expert on your life, and together, we are partners in exploration. Rooted in social justice, I believe it’s important to name and acknowledge our identities in the therapeutic space. I work from a systemic perspective, recognizing that we are shaped by our environments, relationships, and histories.
My approach...
I work with individuals, families, relational units, couples, teens, and children. I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, somatic therapy, mindfulness, art therapy, music therapy, and sex therapy to offer a holistic, creative, and affirming experience. I also believe in the healing power of laughter and bring humor into therapy as often as possible.
Professional training & memberships...
I am currently completing my Master of Arts degree in Couple and Family Therapy with a specialization in Art Therapy at Antioch University Seattle, where I have also received my Certificate in Sex Therapy. Additionally, I am in the process of becoming a certified domestic violence counselor through Antioch University Seattle. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University.

I am a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT), the Washington Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (WAMFT), and the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT).
