It’s OK not to be OK right now.

It can be overwhelming for families to feel the pressure of balancing all the activities and responsibilities of daily life while still feeling happy and connected.

In partnership, we can work together to help your family learn how to hold boundaries as a family and adjust old patterns to make way for ease and finding joy. We can work together to help your child build their self-worth and resilience by learning healthy ways to deal with big emotions.

If increased feelings of stress, pressure to be happy, or traumas are affecting your life and holding you back from happiness, we can work together to reflect, heal, and find your own path towards fulfillment. I help my clients learn how to practice self-love, self-care, acceptance, and gratitude.

I believe in meeting you where you are and helping you to figure out where you want to be by providing a welcoming and nonjudgmental space. My role as a therapist is to give my clients a space to feel heard, seen, and valued. It is a privilege to work alongside clients as they learn healthy ways to navigate through the many challenges of life.

I am fluent in Spanish and English, and offer bilingual services.

My approach...

Growing up in Latinx culture, I understand the difficulty in talking about mental health and emotions. In my therapeutic approach, I focus our time on making a genuine connection to allow space for trust to grow, while teaching you new skills that can improve your mental health and overall well-being. When working with children, I believe the most beneficial change occurs with the involvement of parents/guardians.

My approach to therapy is integrative, client centered and culturally sensitive. I work towards creating a therapeutic experience specific to each client’s needs. I utilize elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems Theory, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Inclusive Feminist Theory, and Art Therapy. Art therapy creates space outside of talk therapy for clients to process and reflect.

Professional training & memberships...
