When life’s challenges feel beyond your control, it can be difficult to remain present and see a way forward. Whether you are an individual looking for support, a couple navigating conflict, or a family overwhelmed with big worries and big feelings, let’s work together to address the challenges in your life. In therapy, we will find the opportunities to slow down, identify old patterns that you are stuck in and no longer serve you, and find new ways for healing and connection.

Through our partnership and collaboration, therapy offers a powerful opportunity for exploration, healing, and growth. My focus in therapy is to work in collaboration with you to address the challenges and concerns that are impeding your life in some way. Together, we will define your goals, address your concerns, and find what works best for you, your relationships, or your family.

I have additional education and experience working with infants, young children, and families and integrate play, learning, and creativity in therapeutic and developmentally appropriate ways. I enjoy working with families as they navigate the various stages of development that occur in early childhood.

I am fluent in English and Spanish and offer bilingual services.

My approach...

I strive to bring compassion, empathy, and non-judgment to therapy. I also find a lot of power and strength in creativity and play, and will integrate this into our work when appropriate.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process, and practice an integrative approach that includes attachment theory, emotionally focused therapy, narrative therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, play therapy, and systems theory. My approach is tailored to best meet your needs and address your concerns, and takes into account important cultural practices, social structure and systems, relationships, spirituality and religion, and other values that are important to you.

My approach is informed by anti-oppressive, multicultural, and social justice lenses. As a queer, second-generation immigrant, woman of color, I understand how challenging it can be to find affirming mental health care. In our work together we will consider important contextual, intersectional, and cultural factors to best address your needs and goals in therapy.

Professional training & memberships...

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Washington (MG61442226). I received my Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University’s School of Applied Psychology. My coursework included relational and systemic theories, abusive relationships, trauma, religion, attachment, emotionally focused therapy, and play therapy. Additionally, I am a member of the Washington Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and the Washington Association for Infant Mental Health. Prior to my current education and training, I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California.
