Clinical Intern
Through connection and the creation of a safe space with others, I believe healing can take place. Sharing your life experience is a courageous act, and as your therapist, I am here to meet you with warmth, empathy, and compassion.
By seeking therapy, you have already taken a step toward the wellness you deserve. I would be honored to collaborate with you as you continue your journey of self-exploration, growth, and understanding. Through curiosity, a bit of humor, and trust in your own inner knowing, I believe we can work together to help you meet your goals and discover your truth.
My approach...
I work with individuals, families, relational units, couples, teens, and children. My theoretical approach is strength-based, client-centered, trauma- and violence-informed, and identity-affirming. I work from a systemic lens and draw from narrative, emotion-focused, ecosystemic structural, and art therapies to offer a holistic and supportive perspective.
As an art therapist, I believe in each person’s inherent creativity and in the power of artmaking to help our inner wisdom emerge. I am passionate about using artmaking to support you in building confidence, strengthening self-regulation, and developing skills that foster autonomy and agency. Whether you consider yourself an artist or you have never picked up a paintbrush, I will meet you where you are in your relationship with art. I believe that the process of creating can be regulating, meaningful, and healing in itself.
Working from a systemic perspective, I will consider the many aspects of your environment, relationships, and communities and how they shape your lived experience and identities. Together, we can explore the challenges you are navigating while honoring the strengths and resources you already carry with you.
