People carry the weight of feeling unseen, misunderstood, or disconnected in their daily lives. I believe that therapy offers a place to counter this by creating safety, authenticity, and connection. In our work
together, I strive to build a compassionate and collaborative relationship where you can bring your full self without judgment. Through my experiences supporting people across different ages, cultural backgrounds, and identities, I will work alongside you to explore challenges, cultivate resilience, and open pathways toward meaningful growth and change.

Having worked with diverse communities—including LGBTQIAP+ individuals, neurodivergent youth, and people from varied cultural and spiritual traditions—I hold a deep appreciation for the unique ways identity and context shape our well-being. I recognize how intersectionality influences both personal experiences and interactions with larger systems, and I am committed to affirming all parts of who you are. My hope is to support you in connecting more deeply with yourself, your relationships, and your communities so that you can feel encouraged, authentic, and grounded in who you are.

My approach...

My counseling approach is integrative, rooted in existentialism and informed by cognitive-behavioral, cultural-relational, and multicultural perspectives. I believe that healing comes when you connect with the
core truth that you are already enough, just as you are. From this place of self-acceptance, you can begin to shape a life that feels meaningful and true to you. I approach the therapy relationship with deep respect, empathy, and curiosity about what makes you you, and I see our relationship as the foundation for growth and change.

In our work together, I invite you to explore questions of identity, freedom, and connection, as well as the challenges that may arise from navigating systems of power, privilege, and oppression. I value the unique perspectives and strengths everyone brings to the therapy room. The process of healing can be a messy and non-linear. My goal is to help you uncover your resilience, embrace your authenticity, and find meaning in your relationships and communities. Together, we can create space for healing, empowerment, and connection.

Professional training & memberships...

I am in the Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Seattle University. I hold a bachelor’s degree in counseling psychology and law from National Tsing Hua University. I bring a broad range of experiences working with children, adolescents, and adults. My professional journey has included supporting neurodivergent youth, LGBTQIAP+ individuals, and people navigating depression, anxiety, grief, and identity-related challenges. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to providing affirming, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care.

I am an active member of the Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities (SAIGE), where I serve as an 2024-2025 Emerging Leader. I am also a member of the American
Counseling Association (ACA), Association for Counselor Education and Supervision (ACES), Washington Mental Health Counseling Association (WMHCA), and Washington Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities (WA SAIGE). I also engage in research on minority stress, counselor self-disclosure, and LGBTQIAP+ mental health, which informs my clinical work and advocacy. Through these professional affiliations and ongoing training, I continue to grow as a counselor to be and dedicate to support diverse communities with compassion, authenticity, and respect.
