Are you a lover or dreamer looking for that rainbow connection?

I'm here to walk with you on your journey of self-exploration to help you uncover your desires and figure out what may be holding you back. I know that for many of us with traumatic histories, that journey can lead us to dark, scary places, but you don't have to go there alone when there is a star to help light the way.

Life can feel exhausting when we are misunderstood and maligned for not fitting into mainstream expectations. I love working with folks who have felt, to paraphrase bell hooks, at odds with the world around them. I aim to be the sort of therapist that it is easy to unmask around. You deserve space to explore your authentic self without having to worry about being too weird, too emotional, or just too much.

My approach...

I work with individual adults who are ready to get curious together about themselves in a caring and collaborative environment.

I believe in the healing power of connection, especially for those wounded by rejection. No person or part exists in isolation. My integrative approach is informed by theories and modalities that recognize the systems within us, the systems we are a part of, and how they all interconnect. As such, I make use of parts work such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy while also being informed by Queer theory, intersectional feminism, relational cultural therapy (RCT), attachment theory, liberation psychology, and existential theory. This helps me to hold space for the unique strengths and challenges of each individual while also understanding the broader context and power dynamics involved.

My approach is also informed by my own experience as a Queer, neurodivergent, Disabled, polyamorous, transgender, non-binary person who lived in the rural south before moving to Seattle.

Professional training & memberships...

I am currently enrolled at Antioch University where I am pursuing a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a certification in sex therapy. Previously, I received a Bachelors of Arts degree at the University of Florida where I graduated summa cum laude. I am also a former Crisis Connections hotline volunteer where I helped callers experiencing suicidal ideation and other crises.

I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the Society for Sexual, Affectional, Intersex, and Gender Expansive Identities (SAIGE), Counselors for Social Justice (CSJ), and Chi Sigma Iota (CSI) counseling honor society.

I have completed the Rainbow Certificate: Level 1 from SAIGE and the LGBTGEQIAP+ Affirming Counseling Training certificate from the College of William & Mary School of Education. I also completed the 60-hour Crisis Line Training Program through Crisis Connections.
