I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where you can bring your authentic self into counseling. I acknowledge that life can be messy, may feel unmanageable, and that external layers often add to this struggle. I will work with you to untangle these factors, finding ways to manage, resolve, and/or navigate life while helping you improve your mental health and wellness. I will collaborate with you to identify the methods that work best for you to maximize your resilience and reach your goals.

On my own mental health and learning journey, I discovered mindfulness, self-care routines, methods from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other modalities that enabled space to work through challenges while acknowledging how they’ve shaped us. I like working with a wide range of clients, with particular interest in working with disadvantaged social groups, adolescents, and adults.
I enjoy working with a wide range of concerns, including but not limited to: anxiety/depression, dual-diagnoses, life transitions, low self-esteem, career challenges, relationship distress, gender dysphoria, and internalized oppression. I have experience working with clients who have intersectional identities, insecure attachment, complex trauma, and more.
My approach...
I work primarily with adolescents and adults, ages 13+. My approach is anti-oppressive, inclusive/intersectional Feminist, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered. My approach integrates aspects of different modalities collaboratively tailored to your needs, such as ACT, DBT, CBT, Mindfulness, ecological systems theory, and Attachment Theory to name a few.
I value creating and holding a space where you can be authentic and bring any of your concerns, whether personal, relational, or societal, to counseling. I center my practice around developing effective communication, promoting self-discovery and awareness, empowering you to meet your goals, and forming fulfilling relationships. As we work together, we will identify your strengths and build your resiliency with tools to make life more manageable as needed. It is important to keep in mind that the therapeutic process will bring up difficult emotions, however, parsing through and releasing them can be a crucial part of your growth and improvement.
Professional training & memberships...
I graduated with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in March of 2025. Prior to this, I obtained a Bachelor of Applied Science in Youth Development from Highline College, where I was also employed as a student leader. I worked at the Intercultural Center as a Peer Facilitator where I created educational programs to facilitate discussion of social awareness and advocacy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in Washington State, credential #MC6168628. I am also a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), and the Washington State Mental Health Counselors Association (WMHCA).
